SEMESTER 1 EXAMINATIONS

Next week, all parents/carers of students in Years 8 to 11 will receive an email outlining important information regarding the upcoming Semester 1 examination period. Please make sure you read this information carefully.

 

Students will also receive access to the examination timetable via email.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All Year 8 and 9 students will be required to attend school as per usual when they are not sitting examinations and will attend scheduled classes.
  • All Year 10 and 11 students will be required to be on campus to attend their examinations and Year 12 classes if they are in Year 11 and completing an accelerated subject.  These examinations are formal assessments and are compulsory requirements of both Year 10 and VCE programs.
  • Students in Year 10 and 11 are welcome to attend the CLC (Library) between examinations or return home.
  • Attendance is compulsory.
  • Full school winter uniform must be worn.

STUDENTS NEED TO BRING:

  • Student ID card 
  • Dictionary (non-thesaurus) 
  • Calculator
  • Pens, pencils, sharpener, eraser

EXAMINATION PERIOD

Year 8-9 Examinations

  • Thursday 30 May to Friday 31 May

Year 10-11 Examinations

  • Tuesday 3 June to Monday 7 June

YEAR 11 CAREERS PLANNING

The Year 11 Careers Planning session is on Wednesday 29 May during period 5 and 6.

All Year 11s who do a VET on Wednesdays will still attend their VET course and will attend a future catch up session.

 

This session is aimed at giving a ‘big picture’ overview of pathways post-Year 11 (VCE/VM/VET, Tertiary Pathways, Pre-requisites/ATAR, VTAC) – it is a lead into the subject selection that will take place in early Term 3
