Grade 1 & 2 

We are very excited to be back at school in the Junior Learning Community. We have been busy starting the term with some wonderful learning. 

In Maths, the Grade Ones have been learning about numbers and counting. They even got to explore where numbers fit on a giant number grid. 

The Grade Twos have been learning about recognising and continuing patterns and halves. 

In Literacy, we have been reading a story called Helping Planet Earth and learning how to write information texts.

During Inquiry, we have begun exploring the concept of Sustainability.  Students designed their ideal world and shared some wonderings about what sustainability means. 

The students enjoyed showing off their best smiles for school photos yesterday. 

The staff have loved having all the students back at school ready for a fantastic Term 2.
