Physical Education

Term 2 - Week 8

Cross Country - We had 20 students competing at the District Cross Country, in Murchison, on the 16th of May. Congratulations to all our students, who ran and competed well. We then had 15 who qualified for the Division Cross Country in Yea. It was very foggy conditions in Yea and 3 students were able to dig deep and get through to the Regional event. This will occur on the 21st of June and it is a fantastic achievement. Well done to Sophie Lamont, Cooper Harper and Logan Schwartzkopff. Good luck!

Winter Sport - Year 5 and 6 - The Year 5 and 6 students had a fantastic time at Winter Sport. They chose to play netball, T-ball, Football and Soccer. We were very proud of our students, who did their best and were such great sports. We now have the girls soccer team playing in Wangaratta on the 31st of July, because they were able to win through to the Regional competition.

Take a look...

Physical Education - We have finished off all our gross motor testing, through the KIDDO program. Parents will soon be able to access this, as well as ideas on how to improve your child's skills and fitness. Stay tuned.

Across the school, we have been working on striking a ball off a tee. We have become very good at this, improving our technique and effectiveness. The Year 3-6 students have been practising their striking in our T-ball games and are becoming very good at catching with a mitt.

Have a great week!
