We are learning to describe and explain how our brains react to different things.


VOCABULARY

Mindfulness:

Being mindful means having your mind on what you are doing. It's the opposite of rushing or doing too many things at once. To be mindful, you slow down to take your time. You do one thing at a time. You focus on what you're doing in a calm way.


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Make a glitter jar to explore the way the glitter reacts to different movements.

You can use different things like beads, leaves, confetti or anything you have around your home.

 

Recall a time that your mind felt like a shaken glitter jar. 

What makes your brain feel clear?

What triggers your brain to become fuzzy?
