Principal's Report

We are well and truly heading to the end of the term, examinations are in, assessments have been submitted and Semester 2 classes have commenced.  And while it may feel like everyone is winding down for the holidays, we have been working very hard in the background on some big new projects that we are very excited to share with you!

At our Whole School Assembly on Thursday we were thrilled to launch our new Schools of Excellence Program which will commence with the rollout of our Arts Academy and Sports Academy in 2025. More information about these academies are included later in this newsletter, but these new introductions will provide more opportunities for our students to further grow and develop their skills and knowledge in an area they are striving for success. The team of staff working on developing these two programs have been doing so for a number of months and now our students can begin to reap the rewards of their dedication and commitment which is exciting for our whole community.

We are also delighted to announce that we have engaged in a local partnership with the Echuca Junior Football Netball Club around the use of our new AFL oval at our Kildare Campus. Once again, this is our College demonstrating our commitment to the health and wellbeing not only of our students, but also the youth of Echuca Moama. This mutually beneficial partnership is exciting for us as we continue to develop our facilities at our Kildare Campus.

As we can start to feel tired, less patient and motivated, and with many people battling illness at this time of year, it is even more import to remember that being kind costs nothing, but is worth a fortune. Let's encourage each other to use our words wisely and model kindness in our actions within our community.

Trusting that students enjoy their term break, but also spend the time wisely, preparing for their return to Term 3.

God Bless.
