National Institute of Education - UCAT Workshop
Attention Year 10, 11 and 12 Students
Intensive UCAT Preparation Workshop - Live, Online & Interactive
23 June 2024 | 13 July 2024
This workshop aims to assist students who wish to start or continue with their UCAT preparation and readiness.
Part 1 is a full-day training covering the essential UCAT skills and strategies.
A full practice test will be mailed to your home address for you to practice, consolidate and extend the exam-taking skills learned during Part 1 of the workshop.
Part 2 a '3-hour Follow-up Session' for students and parents will take place on a separate day. During this session, we will discuss UCAT scores, applications to Medical Schools, and Medical Schools Interviews.

Australian Catholic University – Guarantee
Applications for ACU early offer program, ACU Guarantee, open on 22 July and close on 16 September. ACU Guarantee is an early offer program designed to help Year 12 students secure a place at ACU before they sit their final exams. While successful applicants must still complete their Year 12 exams, they can do so secure in the knowledge that their results from Year 11 meet our entry requirements. Students can also enhance their selection rank by including short personal statements that give ACU an insight into their personal circumstances and motivation for university study.
Please note, these courses have been excluded from this year’s ACU Guarantee program. Students should check the ACU website for any other updates before applying.

To support students during their application process, ACU is hosting anACU Guarantee: early offers and student pathways webinar on Wednesday 17 July.
Hear from our current students on their application experience and what to consider when developing impact statements. Students will also learn about the application process, key dates and important information around offer rounds for our competitive courses. It’s free to apply and we strongly encourage students to do so. They have nothing to lose and many opportunities to gain.
