Thank you to Uniting for a successful first term at St.Joes. We have had a term packed with fun and creativity from our outside fun in the sun, playground dodgeball, cricket, footy, soccer or tennis through to indoor block building, Lego, board games, colouring in just to name a few. 'The Mystery Cabinet' is a project that the students have been working on throughout the term. They started with a idea, transferred it to a draft drawing, then it was moulded into a creation and transformed into the final cabinet that each student/s presented it to their class on Wednesday.
Everyone had a turn at putting their hand in a slot or two or all with varied comments or reactions from the F/1's ...oh slimy, scary, even dog poo swishy. 2/3 class started thinking about it on a different level and what they thought the material were used inside the boxes ...furry feathers or slime but exclaimed they had been bitten (didn't happened). Lastly 4/5/6's also seemed intrigue and enjoyed having ago as well.
We welcome Macey to the service next term week 2 . Thank you to all the beautiful positive feedback from the families that have utilised our services and we look forward to another exciting semester. Have a wonderful break ! Cheers Sam :)
