Schools Triathlon Challenge Thursday 27 November at Bellerive Beach
Students can participate as an individual and / or in a team
Cost of $25 per student added to School levy
Please note: whilst the School will endeavour to provide opportunities for students to participate in the sport(s) of their choice, this is dependent on there being sufficient numbers and parent supervisors to make up viable teams.

Australian Rules Football Girls Years 7/8
Matches: Thursday afternoons at 4:15pm,
Season: from 16 October to 27 November
Venue(s): The Friends' Sports grounds at Bell st for home games and various SSATIS schools in the Greater Hobart area for away games.
Uniform: $10 hired numbered top, $45 shorts. For details and to purchase, click here
Skill level required: Beginner - Intermediate
Transport: Parents are responsible for transporting their own child
Training schedule: Training will be on Monday afternoons at Bell st

Matches: Tuesdays from 4pm to 6pm
Season: 21 October to 25 November
Venue(s): Games will be played at various school courts in the greater Hobart area and The Friends' School top Bell Street ground for home games.
Uniform: School polo top, navy shorts / trackpants, suitable sports shoes.
Skill level required: Beginner - Intermediate
Transport: Parents are responsible for transporting their own child
Training schedule: TBA

Costs: Students will require their own cricket bat, shin pads and mouth guard

Rowing for Season 25/26
Our Rowing program is open to students from Years 6 (including new students enrolling at Friends’ in Year 7) to Year 12 and seeks to teach introductory skills to new rowers, while extending the abilities of experienced rowers.
Being part of the rowing community gives students a wonderful sense of connection and community. Rowing is great exercise and a fantastic team sport. Aside from rowing, the social side of the sport sees connections and friendships fun, enjoyment, teamwork, building a sense of community being formed that cross over age groupings and can last for many years.
