Dear Kingswood Community,

The Year 2 students have spent a term and a half learning the basics of drawing and thinking like an Artist. We have improved our powers of observation, looking at the finer details seen in flowers such as the shape, lines, tone, textures and imperfections.

Each student created their own composition of flowers in pencil and then recreated it using watercolours. So many skills were learnt and developed along the way and will stand them in good stead for future drawing and creating. 

They exceeded my expectations with results that are just beautiful. Come and see framed examples in the Office area by Mila and Paityn 2S, Ashi and Noah 2D, Wilsun, Elliot and Penny 2K and Yoilanda and Jeremy 2C. Well done to everyone!
