SWAN HILL / YAMAGATA 2025 STUDENT EXCHANGE EXTENDED
SWAN HILL RURAL CITY COUNCIL
Swan Hill Rural City Council is calling for registrations of interest from current secondary school students within the municipality wishing to be considered for the 2025 Yamagata Student Exchange. Selected students are matched with a Yamagata student and stay with each others’ families in Yamagata and Swan Hill for about 10 days.
Students get to experience everyday life in the country, including going to school. During your exchange in Yamagata, it is likely you will do most of the following:
• Attend a school with around 800 students.
• Attend schools as a group.
• Attend official receptions.
• Stay in a mountain hostel.
• Visit several facilities and farms.
• Tour a seaside resort.
• Tour Tokyo.
• Spend a day at Tokyo Disneyland.
• Visit many tourist sites.
