Dante Alighieri Poetry Recitation Competition approaching

This year over 40 students are working hard to learn their chosen poem in preparation for the Dante Alighieri Poetry Recitation Competition on Monday 3 June.  Students will be presenting their poems at the University of Melbourne.

This competition is open to students of Year 9 to Year 12 and the poems offered to students have been written by some of the most recognised Italian poets in the world, amongst them of course, one of the most famous, Dante Alighieri.

Last year students at East Doncaster Secondary College were recognised by the Dante Alighieri Society for their efforts and the outstanding results.

We wish all students participating the best of luck.

Bocca in lupo!
