Year 5/6 students Visual Art
We have started making a group animation. We are using stories we created in English or Japanese literacy lessons. Currently we are in the middle of making the storyboard and drawing background scenes. Hopefully, it will be ready to present the animation at Amazing Art Show in Term 4!

Using Chigiri-e technique, we created a fish collage. Chigiri-e is the Japanese art of tearing coloured paper to create a collage or literally, “Painting with paper”.

Amazing Performance at the Box Hill Japan Festival on Sun 19 May
CPS Choir and Taiko Club performed at Box Hill Japan Festival on Sun 19 May.
This annual event is our biggest stage performance in the year and students practised hard to prepare for the performance prior to the event. All students were very excited to be on the stage and their performance was outstanding! We received lots of complements about our performance from their parents and the audience on the day. It was lovely to see few CPS families to support our stage! Thank you for Morita sensei and Mari sensei who ran Choir and Taiko club during my leave in Term 1 and prepared students for this performance.
