Experiential Writing.

On Monday 22nd April, three year 8 English Focus classes had gathered together to go to Darebin Creek. Each student was handed a worksheet where we had to write in four different writing styles; informative, poetry, personal and creative. During our visit, we were taken to four different sites at Darebin Creek, Fez’s Wetlands, the creek itself, the bridge crossing and a seated area. The area had lots of tall trees that surrounded it and a beautiful creek that looked like it was glowing under the sunlight. The trip to the creek overall was very enjoyable and we really loved visiting it! The task now is to produce a detailed piece of writing with the excursion as inspiration.
