Year 6 Leadership Update

Each week, our Year 6 students will develop their journalistic skills by writing a report for our newsletter. This will share what they have been learning as a part of their Year 6 leadership sessions. This week it is the turn of Saachi (5/6G) and Neave (5/6G)

DONATIONS PLEASE!

This week in leadership the Year 6’s have been very busy preparing for Market day which is fast approaching (Friday 24th May). As you would’ve seen, posters have been put around the school advertising all the stalls for Market day, getting everyone excited. We have also been preparing our costumes to make our stalls even more fun for the day.

BUT WE CAN’T  PULL MARKET DAY OFF WITHOUT YOUR HELP!!!

In the office there is a set of donation boxes for Market day. We need things such as:

- hair spray

- ice cream cones

- haunted house decorations

- chocolate blocks

It would be much appreciated if you could donate any of these things to help us run Market day.

Market day is coming up so please donate this week if you can!

Buddies!

Let’s welcome Poppy from 5/6L to talk about buddies:

“We have planned exhilarating sessions for our buddies every tuesday. We decided to plan a Mothers day theme for our session last week as mothers day was on sunday. Each group did different things but my group made paper bags with cards and hands that said what they love about their special person. I was delighted to see how much the buddies love their families''.
