Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews

Parents/carers are invited to book a 10-minute interview during either of the two sessions at the end of Term 2.  Session 1 will be between 3:45 PM - 9:00 PM on Thursday 27 June, and Session 2 will take place between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Friday 28 June. 

Interview selections will open to parents/carers in TASS on Wednesday 12 June at 5:00 PM and will close at 9:00 AM on Wednesday 26 June. If you would like to organise an interview with your son’s Mathematics teacher (if he or she is not already your son’s classroom teacher), or to meet with one of his specialist teachers, please email them directly to arrange a suitable time. 

da Vinci Decathlon Results 

Since our last communication to the community, the final results from the da Vinci Decathlon have been published. The top 16 schools in each discipline have been named, and we are pleased to share some impressive results from our Year 5 and 6 teams. Year 5 placed 3rd in Ideation, 10th in Art and Poetry, 10th in Code Breaking and 14th in Science. The Year 6 team secured 5th in Science, 8th in Cartography, 13th in English and 14th in Engineering. Congratulations to both teams!

ICAS Assessments

As per previous articles, parents/carers are invited to register and pay for their son to participate in the Mathematics, English, Science and Writing ICAS assessments by completing the following:

1. Go to the Parent Portal: https://shop.icasassessments.com/pages/pps

2. Enter our school’s access code – FKS095

3. Enter your child’s details, select the tests you would like to purchase, then proceed to payment.

Registration and payment close on 29 July 2024.

After payment is made via the Parent Payment System you will receive an order confirmation email, please keep this for your records. ICAS assessments will be run before school (approximately 7:45 AM) over a number of days in Term 3.
