Underdale High School is offering an exciting short course extension program for students in years 5 to 6 involving Inquiry-Based learning. Students will learn the mathematical underpinnings of different art forms. Students can discover symmetry in patterns, apply geometric shapes to paintings, and learn how mathematical transformations are used. They may study/investigate famous artworks to see what mathematical elements they contain and produce their artwork based on these concepts.
