Grade 5 | Huon

Grade 5 has had a busy and exciting few weeks!

We celebrated Harmony Week with our buddies by colouring paper people representing different cultures and racial backgrounds. It was a wonderful way to learn about and celebrate the rich diversity that makes our community so special.

In the kitchen, we baked some delicious scones with Mrs Henwood. These were shared during our International Women's Day Celebration, where we invited some very special women to join us. We hope everyone enjoyed the tasty treats as much as we enjoyed making them.

In visual art, we've been creating some optical illusions. The finished pieces look fantastic and we can’t wait to display them!
