TMAG Excursion

TMAG - Rex Greeno Exhibition

We were fortunate enough to have TMAG staff guide us through the exhibition of works by Tasmanian Aboriginal Elder Rex Greeno - artist, fisherman, and maker of tuylini, ninga and pyerre (Tasmanian Aboriginal bark and reed canoes) - that tells a story of deep connection to culture, family and the sea. Students were extremely respectful, and soaked up the opportunity to learn, explore and engage deeply with the experience.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the stories attached to each piece of Artwork and conducted their own exploration through the use of QR codes.
