Term 2 Overviews

We have had a great term of learning. The children have all been engaged in the learning across their different subjects. Next term is a long term, 11 weeks! We have our Learning Expo towards the end of Term 2. So over the last two weeks, the teachers have been meeting in their teams to plan and prepare the teaching and learning for Term 2. Unit of work - From Leaves to Paws - What makes living things special?

We are learning to understand that living things have different features.

Year 1 and 2

Unit of work - Seed to Snack - where does our food come from?

We are learning to select food to plan, design and create a meal that meets the needs of our community.

Year 3 and 4

Unit of work - Sustain the Chain - How are living things interconnected?

We are learning to understand the food chain of living and non-living things and the human impact on their environments.

Year 5 and 6

Unit of work - Wild Adaptations: Ingenious Ways Living Things Conquer Nature

We are learning to identify how living things adapt to changes in the environment to ensure their survival.
