Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we reach the end of the first term of 2025, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey our students, staff, and families have embarked upon together. This year, our theme, Be Fearless Let’s Illuminate the Sky, has inspired us all to step outside our comfort zones, embrace challenges, and shine brightly in every endeavour.

From the first day of Term 1, we have seen our students approach their learning with enthusiasm and courage. Whether it has been in the classroom, on the sports field, in the arts, or through leadership opportunities, they have demonstrated resilience, creativity, and a willingness to push beyond their limits. Our dedicated staff have nurtured this spirit, encouraging each student to be fearless in their pursuit of knowledge and growth. All of this has unfolded during an incredibly energised start to the year, punctuated by the weather event Cyclone Alfred.

The partnership between our College and parents/caregivers is invaluable in the educational journey. It was a pleasure to connect with so many of you at the P&F Welcome Evening earlier this year. We sincerely value this relationship and the opportunity to work together in fostering a dynamic and supportive educational environment where every child is inspired and empowered to achieve their personal best. 

As always, our staff are here to support you with any concerns. For Primary students, your child’s classroom teacher is typically the first point of contact for academic and pastoral matters. In the Secondary School, the Head of Year is the best contact for general pastoral queries, while subject teachers are the most appropriate first point of contact for academic questions. That said, I continue to maintain an open-door policy and welcome the opportunity to meet and connect with each of you. 

As we head into the holiday break, I thank you for your unwavering support and partnership in your child’s educational journey. I hope this time allows you to enjoy some special moments with family and create lasting memories.
