Principal's Report

Report from our Principal: Duncan Arendse

Dear Parents, Friends, and Father Arsenio,

Term One has been a big and exciting term, filled with many wonderful experiences for our students and school community.

Our Year 6 students had an unforgettable time at Canberra Camp, deepening their understanding of Australian history, Civics & Citizenship and leadership. A big thank you to our wonderful Year 6 staff and Caeleigh for all the behind-the-scenes organisation that ensured the fun and safety of our students.

This week, we came together to reflect on Holy Week, with presentations that guided us through the journey of Jesus’ passion and death. In Week One of Term Two, we will come together to celebrate His resurrection.

We also extend our gratitude to our parent representatives and school leaders who assisted with our school tours for prospective families. Your support and enthusiasm truly showcased what makes our school community so special. Thank you.

As we come to the end of Term One, we reflect on the journey of Lent and the significance of Easter in our Catholic faith. Easter is a time of renewal, hope, and great joy as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It reminds us of God’s endless love and the promise of new life.

We are grateful for the dedication and growth we have seen in our students this term and for the continued support of our families. May this Easter season bring peace, love, and blessings to your homes.

Term Two Reminders

When we return in Term Two, students should continue to wear their correct school uniform with pride. School uniform information can be found via our school website. Please ensure that all items, including jumpers and jackets, are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

A friendly reminder to all families to use Duncan’s Crossing safely. This supervised crossing ensures the safety of our students and families, and we encourage everyone to model safe road practices by using it at all times.

Wishing you a restful and joyful holiday, filled with faith and family. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another wonderful term of learning and growth.

Wishing you a joyful and blessed Easter, filled with peace, love, and hope.
