Prep
Prep students have been working on their David Bromley-inspired butterfly artworks for the art show. After outlining their butterflies with black oil pastel, they painted using watercolours, selecting complementary colours to make their butterflies stand out.
Year 1/2
Year 1/2 students have completed their turtle artworks, painting underwater-themed backgrounds. They have now started their next project, which will continue next term—creating Earth collages using ripped paper on painted blue and green backgrounds.
Year 3/4
Year 3/4 students have finished their Reg Mombassa-inspired landscape line artworks and are now working on a collage focused on sustainability. Their pieces will include images and messages about protecting the environment.
Year 5/6
Year 5 students have completed their Australian native animal wildlife posters, incorporating text to raise awareness about protecting endangered species.
