Small Schools Soccer Knockout Competition

What a great game against Ulmarra Public School in Glen Innes, last Wednesday.  Congratulations to Ulmarra Public School who were the winners on the day and move on to compete in Sydney.  We thank you and wish you well for the rest of the competition.  Our Soccer champions should be very proud as we are of your sportsmanship and co-operation as a team.  We look forward to next year's competition.

NENW Soccer Trials

Good luck to Lachy and Tahlia who are competing in the New England Northwest Soccer Trials this week in Tamworth.  Everyone at Werris Creek Public School wishes you all the best and we look forward to hearing all about your experience.

NENW Athletics Carnival

The New England North West Athletics Carnival will be held at the Tamworth Regional Athletics Track on Wednesday, 4th September. Good Luck to our Senior Boys Relay Team (Ashton A, James, Lachy & Lebron) and Piper who will be representing Quirindi Zone for Junior Girls High Jump.  We look forward to hearing about your achievements.  

NRL Gala Day

Students who play Rugby League in the U10 & U12 teams are invited to participate in a NRL Gala Day to be held at the Tamworth Minor League Fields on Tuesday, 24th September.   Information regarding this event will be forwarded home in the coming weeks.

If your child is in Years 5 and 6 and has an interest in participating in any PSSA sporting activities, they will be given a note to fill in and return.  Please note that all notes must be submitted by the due date as late entries will not be accepted.
