Thank you to everyone who came to see our Book Fair with the theme of "Garden - Catch the reading bug".    I would also like to thank those who contributed by purchasing a book or item from our book fair.  All money received goes towards our school receiving books for our library.  We hope you are enjoying your books. 

PAYMENTS VIA 

PARENT PORTAL

We now accept payments via the Parent Portal.  If you wish to make a payment via the portal but are having difficulty, please contact the school office who will be happy to assist you in navigating online payments.  Alternatively, the school office still accepts cash payments between 8:30am and 3:30pm Monday to Friday during school term.

KINDER TRANSITION  2025 INFORMATION AFTERNOON AT WERRIS CREEK & DISTRICT PRESCHOOL

We will be holding a Kinder Transition 2025 Information Afternoon at the Werris Creek & District Preschool on Monday, 9th September 2024 at 3:30pm.  All welcome to attend.

NRL BLITZ TEAM DAY

The NRL Blitz Team will be coming to visit our school on Wednesday, 11th September between 9am and 12pm to teach our students drills and technique in Rugby League.  Our students are very excited and are looking forward to participating in this event.

 For the next two weeks our behaviour focus will be on the value of integrity. The word integrity means to be honest and to have strong moral principles.  We are asking students to:

  • Own their own behaviour and not blame others
  • Tell the truth
  • Make good choices
  • Take responsibility for their actions

YR 5/6 HILL END EXCURSION

With only three weeks to go final payments are now due for all students who are attending the Yr 5/6 Excursion to Hill End.  All payments need to be received by Friday 30th August to reserve your spot.  Payments can be made via the Sentral Portal or in cash at our office.  

NRL Gala Day

The NRL Game Development Team have invited our students to play in the All Schools Carnival 2024 to be held in Tamworth on Tuesday, 24th September.  This event is open to students who play in U10 - U12 teams.  Information on this event will be sent home to those participating students in the coming weeks.
