Indigenous Artist in Residence

This term in Year 7 Art, students have been working with our Indigenous Artist in Residence, Sam Richards, from the Wurundjeri and Dja Dja Wurrung tribes.

The students learned about traditional symbols and how to create a story using those symbols. From there, they were taught the steps to painting a canvas with their design using the same techniques of the Artist in Residence.
