Have you considered conveyancing as a career?

What is a conveyancer?

A conveyancer helps clients with property and business transfers. They ensure that the process of buying or selling property is done correctly and legally. Conveyancers prepare and advice on contracts, conduct title searches, handle mortgage documents, and manage financial and legal aspects of property transactions.

What skills and strengths are needed?

A thorough understanding of property laws and financial regulations is essential. Conveyancers must have strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. They need to be good communicators to explain complex legal information to clients.

What are the pathways?

You typically need an Advanced Diploma in conveyancing combined with practical experience. University is also a pathway as in some states and territories, only solicitors can perform conveyancing work.
