Ornamental Shield Painting

Work with the KESO

A report by Alia A 5/6J

On Friday the 9th of August, Tyrell Moore came in from KESO. Some of our First Nations students met with Tyrell to do cultural art on shields.

The KESO stands for Koorie Engagement Support Officer. Koorie is all the Indigenous mob from Victoria and some parts of NSW.  The KESO works with Indigenous families and communities and helps to provide knowledge.

The students he was working with had fun and  learnt new things.
