Assistant Principal News

I am very happy to be back at school after recuperating from shoulder replacement surgery for most of this term. As I’ve explained to the many concerned children, my bones thought I was 100 years old and needed replacing! Over the next few months, I’ll be busy gaining back strength, ready for all arm wrestle challenges by Christmas!

Thank you to all the kind wishes I received from families.

Library News

We want to inform you about an important update regarding our school library.

Over the years, we have noticed an increase in the number of lost or unreturned library books. While we understand that accidents happen, the cost of replacing these books has become a significant burden on our school's budget.

Accumulatively over the last 7 Years, we have now got 848 missing items. Until now, the school has absorbed the loss. To help us manage these costs and ensure our library remains well-stocked for all students, we will soon be requesting parents to either replace the lost book or the cost of any library books that are lost or damaged beyond repair. This change in our current process will take effect starting Term 4. We believe this measure will help encourage students to take better care of library materials and ensure that all students have access to the resources they need.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue providing a rich and engaging library experience for all students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office.

Thank you for your support.

Hats are back!

With the commencement of Spring the children are now expected to wear their school approved wide brimmed school hats (caps are not school approved). Please ensure hats remain in schoolbags, to be accessed at all outside learning opportunities, recess and lunch.
