The Preps had a wonderful time at Ecolinc on Friday. We got to become scientists and use magnifying glasses to hunt for minibeasts in water and in compost. We got to search for minibeasts in their wetland area and then build our own minibeast. Here are the photos from our Ecolinc excursion on Friday:
Last week was Science Week. We did some experiments throughout the week and got to see 'Dancing Raisins' and 'Dancing Sprinkles'.

Literacy
In the upcoming fortnight, we will learn about the sound that /sh/, /ch/ and /tch/ make. Our story of the week in week 7 will be Pete the Sheep by Jackie French and in week 8 it will be Ruby Roars by Margaret Wild. We will be continuing to learn about the Heart Word 'all'.
In Mathematics, we will be learning about days of the week, months of the year, and things that we do each day. Then we will continue our learning about Addition.
In Topic next week we will be learning about Marsupials and Endangered Animals.
In Respectful Relationships, we will continue to learn about Help Seeking by discussing who our helpful people are.
