Unlocking the World of Korea: Dive into the Magic of Korean Community Languages Class

In Korean B, students focused on learning to write in Korean by exploring the letters and formations of each syllable block. They enjoyed learning the Korean pronunciations of their English names since the long vowel sounds, /z/, /f/ or /ph/, /v/ don’t exist in spoken and written Korean. Students tried really hard to learn to write their own names in Korean and many are now able to write them without looking at their Korean name tags. What an amazing effort and progression!

Years 2, 4 and 6 students in Korean B also learnt to introduce their name, age and favourite colour verbally in Korean this term. They engaged in various language learning activities to further develop their writing and speaking skills in Korean and will continue the journey in Term 2.
