Exploring the beauty of the language and deepening our understanding of Chinese culture

In Chinese A, students focused on learning to write and communicate in daily phrases by exploring sentence structures and conjunctions in sentences. Students also enjoyed taking pride in their writing of Chinese sentences and the verbal practice to ask their friends and peers in lessons as a form of survey to their Chinese questions or as a get to know each other deeper activity.

Stage 2 and 3 students are mostly able to dissect the words in some sentences for their specific meaning and understand the sentence as a whole by understanding the independent phrases.

Students found it very interesting to learn Chinese local phrases and sentences that are region specific for various situations so they can apply it in different daily situations.

Students will be building upon existing vocabulary and sentence formation in Term 2 to develop the independent ability to create new sentences and speak or write it independently.
