Principal's Report
In the blink of an eye the end of term has arrived! This term has been full of exciting activities and camps, there's been lots of learning, and we have welcomed our new Year 7 students into our wonderful community.
Our Kildare Campus is really taking shape with the Stage 2 Specialist Building and the new Learning Building almost ready for us to move in. We are anticipating staff and students will be able to start working in these buildings within the first four weeks of Term 2. However, we must wait for our Occupancy Certificate to be issued before we can lock in a date. Regardless, this will be a positive move forward for our Kildare community, that will greatly increase their learning opportunities onsite, and we will keep families informed as things progress.
Easter is a time for reflection and gives all of us an opportunity to reset and start again. I ask all families to listen to their child’s Term 1 achievements or challenges and talk them through the steps needed for improvement moving forward. Some of this will naturally occur at our Parent/Teacher/Student conversations on Thursday night. Once again, if your child needs some extra support, please don't hesitate to reach out to their Learning Mentor or individual class teacher.
I look forward to our Foundation Day where we celebrate our story, but we also commit to supporting those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We do this through prayer and through our fundraising efforts.
I wish all in our community a restful break and a Holy Easter. May the blessings of the risen Christ fall upon all of us.
“I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. John 11:25-26
