Parents & Friends' (PFA)

Welcome back to Term Two, hopefully everyone had a restful Easter and is ready for another busy term ahead. The PFA team would like to thank all the very generous families who donated to the Easter Raffle and made this a very special occasion for the children. We would especially like to mention the Goudie family who donated a voucher for The Bank in Carnegie.

Thanks so much to Sandra, Efra and all the helpers who put together the hampers and did an amazing job in organising the raffle event.

We have a busy few weeks ahead with lots of fun events planned for young and old!

Starting with our Junior families catch up this Sunday from 2-4 pm on the green in the school grounds. It would be fantastic to see all our new families attend this event and hopefully lots of new friendships will be formed.

The following weekend we have our Annual Mums' Day Out event. We would love to see all of our gorgeous mums and grandmothers attend. You can still book your ticket through Try Bookings. It's on Saturday 27th April from 5pm onwards at The Bank in Carnegie so get in fast and get those tickets booked. Thanks so much to Bec and Luci for all your hard work with organising this very special event.

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and the Class Liaisons for 5/6, Linda and Rhonda, have been busily organising the breakfast and stall. All the mums please make sure you clear your diary on the morning of Friday 10th May. Details of how to book through Operoo will be coming out soon so please keep an eye out for this. Cathy Stacey is helping to supply the Mothers' Day stall items; please see the details of her florist below. Cathy is offering St. Anthony's families a 10% discount when you mention the school, make sure to make a trip to her shop for all your Mother’s day treats (Yes, this is a hint for all the dads ) More details to follow in the next newsletter about the Mothers' Day stall.

Our next PFA meeting is on next Tuesday 23rd April from 730pm in the Padua Pavilion.

We would love to see some new people attend and help us organise all the very exciting events coming up for the rest of the year. We hope to see you there.
