Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families
Happy Last Day of Term 1 2024!
Congratulations to everyone for completing the first Term of the 2024 school year! A special congratulations to our Foundation students who have just completed their first Term of school ever! I hope all our families have a wonderful holiday period enjoying the lovely sunshine and spending time with family and friends.
My name is Stephanie Sharp and I am the new Assistant Principal at Maramba Primary School, I am excited to be joining the Maramba Primary School community and working together to continue the wonderful work started in Term 1. I bring to this role a passion to ensure all students have access to success in their learning. Over my first week Maramba Primary School I have met many students, staff and parents. Please feel free to drop by my office located in the reception building at any time. Over the last week, I have had the opportunity to visit all the classes around the school, from the warm hellos and smiling faces I can already see what a positive school environment exists at Maramba Primary School.
Harmony Day
Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. On Thursday March 21st Harmony Day was celebrated at Maramba Primary School. It was amazing to see our students wearing their cultural clothes or the colour orange.
Discovery Morning
On Friday March 22nd the whole school participated in a Discovery Celebration. It was amazing to see students take ownership over their learning as they shared their new learning to each class that visited. A personal highlight was watching how excited the Foundation students were to share their work with the students in Year 5 and 6. It was delightful to see how eagerly the Year 5 and 6 students would listen to the Foundation students and would give positive feedback on their work.

Annual Report to the School Community
The 2023 Annual Report provides an opportunity to share the school’s achievements and progress with the school community. The annual reporting process ensures high quality data is used and shared with the school community in order to monitor and drive school improvement. It will be presented to the school community via a public meeting in Term 2, scheduled for 18th April 2024 at 9:30am in the staffroom.
Once again have a wonderful holiday break and we look forward to seeing families and students return on Monday April 15th.
