Blue EDGE Program
Last week, a group of selected students participating in the Blue EDGE Program and had the exciting opportunity to visit Seymour Police Station.
The Blue EDGE program, developed by Blue Light Victoria in partnership with Victoria Police, is an early intervention and prevention initiative aimed at empowering secondary school students in Years 7–9. The program focuses on enhancing resilience, confidence, and mental wellbeing through a combination of fitness activities, workshops, and community engagement.
The visit offered students a behind-the-scenes look at local policing, and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
They met with officers, explored various parts of the station, and gained valuable insights into the role of police in the community. The students found the visit both educational and inspiring, and we thank the Seymour Police team for their warm welcome and ongoing support of the Blue EDGE Program.
