Orange Room - Dreamtime
Orange Room students have been learning about Dreamtime as part of our Inquiry unit this term. They have explored a range of Dreamtime stories, including The Rainbow Serpent, Tiddalick the Frog, The Emu and the Jabiru, Girawu the Goanna, Kookoo the Kookaburra, How the Birds Got Their Feathers, and Mad Magpie. A particular focus was placed on the story of Tiddalick the Frog, with students creating papier-mâché models to support their understanding of the narrative. In addition, they listened to traditional Aboriginal music and decorated their own clapsticks to use during rhythm and music activities.
Orange Room Team: Stephanie, Belinda, Maddi, Indii, Iesha, Louisa, Niall, Veer.

We have been learning lots about our emotions and feelings and how we can interact kindly with others. We are all learning so much and making some great discoveries. Big Belly Breaths are awesome for a lot of us!
Logan is such a great runner he represented the school, then district, then region and came home with a medal.
We presented at our assembly last week, it was scary, and we overcame those fears and did it!
Most of us have enjoyed swimming this term and we are looking forward to more next term.
