Garden

All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

❤️GROWING TOGETHER❤️

🌻PRIDE of PLACE

🌻🎙️Matt Hill 🐽🏆, 😇Sir Aston Attenborough🐦 and 💯 In The Hall 🧘🙏💜

💫THE RACE THAT STOPS A NATION’ -The guinea pigs🐽 have been trialled, the track has been extended 🔨 , choir vocal chords have been loosened 🎶, the fire carriers have been booked 🔥, the podium is in place, the bird cage has been found 🦆 , the silks have been made, live streaming services have been set up (I’m nervous 😬)……

UNBELIEVABLE - And race caller Matt Hill 🥳 has been booked. Thanks to our racing raconteur Mick Sharkie😇, 🎙️Matt Hill is to call the race 😱. The number one race caller and footy commentator in the nation, world, universe!!! Last reports suggest he’s nervous. It’s his biggest gig ever. Not a bad one to have on the CV Mr Hill 👏

If you would like to catch the race, tune in to the St Louis Instagram page next Friday at 12.15pm. Acknowledgment to Country, National Anthem, introduction of competitors followed by ‘🐽The Race That Stops a Nation 🏆’.

This weeks Lulu, Izzy and Harriet form guide.

Nutmeg - Nutmeg has black and white fur with a patch of ginger on her bottom 😝. She was part of our extensive guinea pig breeding program. Caramel is her mum. Unfortunately for Nutmeg she is slow. Very slow 😩. She loves her food, enjoys quite time in the sun and is a guinea pig social butterfly 🦋. If there was an influencer amongst our trusty pigs 🐽 Nutmeg is it. She’s more interested in hits on her Insta account than hitting the training track 💋.  Can’t win the race 😱, can win fashions on the field 😍.

Giggles - Giggles is a massive chance both on and off the track. She’s ombré brown 🤭 (nice description girls 👌), very cute nose, dark brown eyes 👁️ , long nails and presents incredibly well in race day trials. She’s a light weight built for speed. She has one glitch….a potential game changer…..she has a bad habit of marking her territory mid race. She’s been known to have a comfortable race lead, looks a certain winner 🥇and then stops for a wee 🌧️🫨. Her record wee count for one five meter race is three 🌧️🌧️🌧️. She’ll be the champ both on an off the track if she can just hold on 😳. Come on Giggles you can do it 🤞🙏.

💫Sir Aston Attenborough wandered down to the garden this week with bird book, binoculars and a book to write notes in all about birds 🐦. That’s a lot of B’s. You little beauty Sir Aston. He loves budgies, canaries, rainbow lorikeets and of course the 🏆🤍🖤mighty magpie 🤍🖤🏆. Great job Sir Aston you are a star 🤩.

🙏ONE HUNDRED IN THE HALL🧘- Ripple, Rumble, Rock Yoga continues to be a huge success. Many thanks to 💜Mr Wood and Mrs Douglas💜 for all their help and support. We will be back next Wednesday 7.45am in the year 6 multi purpose room for the last session of the term. We will continue to ☀️ ripple a few good vibes 🙏 out into the world next term. We encourage parents to join us 🙃. The aim is to have a yoga celebration morning where we get ‘💯 in the hall’ performing our much loved St Louis Salutation. 🎶good good good good vibrations……Let’s keep the good vibes rumbling on 😎.

🐔 If anyone is interested in helping look after the animals over the holidays, contact me foverberg@stlouisaspendale.com or pop down to the garden for a chat 🐢. Some guinea pigs have already been booked in for holiday adoption so please get in quick if you’re keen.
