Good afternoon Families,

We have one week to go before this very long Term 2 finishes.  The student reports will be emailed out this week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers for the time and effort they have put into writing these reports. If you have any questions about your child’s report, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

Girls AFL competition

Congratulations to our 2 AFL girls team who competed on Tuesday in a round robin competition. The 1st team has gone onto the next level. Well done girls.

Confirmation Reflection Day

On Wednesday the Year 6 students participated in their Confirmation Reflection Day. The students were led by Rachel Prince from Catholic Mission and supported by three Year 12 students from St Bede’s. We were so lucky to have the 3 past students return to St Louis and work with our Year 6 students. Thank you to Mrs Douglas and the four Year 6 teachers for organising the day and supporting our students in their preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Faith Filled Family night

Thank you to the parents and students who attended the evening with Rose  from COTS. Thank you to Mrs Douglas for organising this evening. Rose is an inspiration and leaves us wondering how we can make a difference to this world.

Friday 4 July is the last day of this term and we will finish at 1 pm.

There will be no OHSC Friday afternoon.

Day 1 Term 3 is Monday 21 July

Michael Harvey Visit- 20th July

We are blessed to have Michael Harvey visit our parish on Sunday 20 July (one of only 6 parishes in Australia!). Michael Harvey is a world class presenter with decades of experience in over 18 countries. In 2004 Michael Harvey gave up a high-flying job in London to teach church leaders a new vision of a parish culture where invitation is second nature not a second thought. Since then, he has helped thousands of people and churches all over the world with his simple yet powerful process of invitation. His approach is understandable, entertaining, engaging ,humorous and accessible.

Our Parish Pastoral Council recently attended 4-week online training sessions with Michael, and it was excellent. Michael’s message of invitation is of such relevance and an invitation for all;  we would like to invite as many people as possible to hear Michael.

The event is on Sunday 20 July, all are invited to our 9.30am Mass and Michael’s presentation will take place in the St Louis’ Primary School Hall from 11am (tea & coffee and registration from 10.45am)

There is no cost. We will provide lunch and therefore need people to register.

Enjoy your weekend
