eyes on VET

Welcome to another edition of Eyes on VET!
Our Year 12s are preparing for their Presentation Ceremony - a wonderful milestone celebrating their achievements. Year 11 students are approaching their final days for the year, while our Year 10s are gearing up for an exciting Leap Week in Week 9, which includes either Work Experience or the CORE Camp adventure. In addition, our Year 10 VET Connect students are completing the final stage of their Work Readiness Program as they submit their portfolios.
A friendly reminder that Year 11 VET Connect and P2C students are required to submit their Workplace Learning Logbooks and Skills Journals for final collection and marking by Monday 1s December at the latest, if they haven’t done so already. This ensures results can be uploaded to SCSA by their very strict deadline.
It was wonderful seeing our Year 11s back at school on Wednesday this past week for their final week. 😊

Snapshots around the workplace…
…to all the Year 10 students who secured employers for a week block of work experience during Leap Week.
…to Mikayla Griffiths, who was successful in gaining a School Based Traineeship with ATC Worksmart, where she will complete a Certificate III in Hospitality. Her host employer is The Coffee Club in Cockburn.
