Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we near the end of Term 4, I want to pause and express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support and partnership you’ve shown throughout this busy term. Applecross SHS thrives because of the strong connection between our students, staff, and families—and that is something we never take for granted.

Highlights from Week 8:

• Student Achievements: Our students continue to impress us with their dedication and talent. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, or on the sports field, their efforts reflect the values we hold dear as a school community.
• Year 12 Graduation: This week’s ceremony will be a truly special occasion. Thank you to all families who join us to celebrate this milestone. Your presence makes the event even more meaningful.

• Teaching and Learning: Our staff have worked tirelessly to keep learning engaging and purposeful right through to the end of term. Their commitment ensures every student finishes the year on a strong note.

   

Looking Ahead:

• End-of-Year Activities: We have some exciting celebrations planned for the coming weeks. Please check Compass for details.
• Reports: Semester 2 reports will be available online in Week 10.
• 2026–2028 Business Plan: Thank you to everyone who contributed feedback during consultation. Your input helps shape the future of our school.

As we wrap up the term, I want to acknowledge the resilience, kindness, and hard work shown by our students and staff—and the unwavering support from you, our parents and carers. Together, we’ve created a positive and vibrant learning environment, and that is something to celebrate.
