Showcasing Excellence in TAS Faculty
Our TAS (Technological and Applied Studies) faculty has been buzzing with creativity and craftsmanship this term, with students across year levels producing outstanding timber projects that highlight both skill and imagination.
Year 8 Technology Mandatory students have proudly completed timber trinket boxes, demonstrating precision in measuring, cutting, and finishing while learning the foundations of woodworking.
Year 9 Industrial Technology classes showcased their flair for design with beautifully crafted jewellery boxes, combining functionality with decorative detail.
Year 10 Technology students impressed with their woodturned timber bowls, each piece reflecting patience, technique, and artistry.
Year 10 Industrial Arts students took on larger projects, producing sturdy and stylish tables that highlight their growing confidence in design and construction.
Year 11 Industrial Technology students demonstrated advanced joinery and design skills through their cabinet projects, creating functional and polished pieces that bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry standards.
Year 12 Industrial Technology Timber students capped off their senior studies with remarkable major projects including cabinets, a coffee table, and an entertainment unit. These works stand as a testament to their dedication, craftsmanship, and readiness for future pathways in design and technology.
