Deputy Principal's Message

End-of-Year Reflections

As we wrap up another incredible school year, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the achievements of our students and the spirit of our school community.

  • Academic Excellence: From the CSIRO STEM Project to the Maths Olympiad and Premier’s Reading Challenge, students have excelled in classrooms and beyond, achieving outstanding results while striving toward their personal learning goals.
  • Community Spirit: Year groups raised funds for charities and volunteered at events like the Hills Relay for Life, showing empathy, leadership, and social responsibility.
  • Arts & Culture: Harmony Day, Cabaret Night, and the Talent Quest showcased the creativity, diversity, and confidence of our students.
  • Sports Highlights: Students shone in athletics, swimming, and cross country, with some even representing Australia in baseball — an extraordinary achievement!
  • Leadership & Partnerships: Our students proudly supported local primary schools through Gala Day, leadership ceremonies, and taster lessons, strengthening community ties.
  • Digital Learning: The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trial in Term 4 was a huge success, paving the way for full implementation in 2026.
  • Media Team Spotlight: Behind the scenes, our talented Media Team has been working tirelessly on editing and post-production for their short film. Every cut, sound mix, and visual effect is bringing them closer to their goal: submitting the film to the Academy Awards.

This year also marked the arrival of our new Principal, Mr. Maric, who has reinvigorated our school’s core values — learning, excellence, and integrity — ensuring they shine through in everyday school life.

Together, staff, students, and families have created a year filled with growth, opportunity, and success. We look forward to building on these achievements in 2026.

Mrs. D. Maloney and Mr. Damian Knott
