Dear Families,

As Mother’s Day approaches, we take this special opportunity to honour and celebrate the incredible women and caregivers in our school community. Whether it’s mums, grandmothers, step-mums, aunties, carers, or special female role models, this day is a chance to recognise the love, guidance, and support they give every day.

At St Joseph's we understand that every family is unique, and we want all children to feel included as they celebrate the important people in their lives. In the lead-up to Mother’s Day, students across all year levels have been busy creating heartfelt cards, artwork, and messages of appreciation. The joy and care that go into their creations are truly touching.

We’re also looking forward to our Mother’s Day Stall on Thursday 8th, where students will have the chance to choose a small gift to take home as a surprise. Gifts will be priced between $1.00 and $ 10.00.

Mothers, grandmothers and special females in our students' lives  will be celebrated at our annual Mother's Day Breakfast on May 9th.

A big thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who help make these events possible!

This Sunday, we encourage families to take a moment to celebrate in a way that feels special to them—whether it’s breakfast in bed, a handmade gift, or simply spending time together. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing women who help our children grow, learn, and thrive. Your strength, patience, and kindness are appreciated more than words can say.

St Joseph's Award

The St Joseph's Award was presented to Ryan McManus and William Heinnen  at our last whole school assembly. The award is presented to students who consistently display our school values and behaviour expectations.

Fun Food Friday

The Student Wellbeing Action Team have organised three Fridays this term to supply hot food for student lunches. This Friday they will be selling hot dogs for $3:00. Students will need to bring their money in a named envelope this Wednesday so that hot dogs and rolls can be ordered for Friday.

School Counsellor - Ashna

We were disappointed to hear that Ashna is no longer working with Catholic Care and therefore our school. We are hoping for a replacement shortly and will let you know once her replacement has been announced.
