Mother's Day Craft:

Space Dome Incursion in STEM for 1A and 1D

Year 1's have been learning about what causes day and night, the weather and seasons during their STEM lessons. In the space dome they explored the view of Earth from space and our position from the sun. Nick, the space expert, showed the earth's rotation and how the southern and northern hemisphere received more, or less, sun during winter and summer months. They also looked at the planets near the sun and which ones we can see at night time.
