Over the duration of our 11-week Term 2, Westbreen Primary School students were active and involved in a variety of sports at school and in our community representing Westbreen. WPS Cross Country Day, District Cross Country, 5/6 Winter Interschool Sport, John Fawkner Soccer Gala Day, Essendon FC Grade 2 visit and more kept our students busy on the sporting field.
Further congratulations to some of our students that enjoyed success on the sporting field:
Well done again to all of the fantastic students at WPS who gave their all! I look forward to seeing further achievements in Term 3!
Mr Nolan
The deadline for the 2026 Foundation enrolments is fast approaching. If you have a child that is due to start school with us next year and you haven't yet completed an enrolment form, the deadline for all enrolments is Friday July 25th (week 1 of term 3).
A friendly reminder there is no family time tomorrow. Family time isn't run during the first or last week of each term. Family Time will return Week 2 of term 3, Wednesday 30th July.
A huge thank you to our Family Time parent volunteers, Rhoda Khaled(mum of Ahmad & Tannah) and Atika Tik (mum of Eliot & Ilena) for the fun, fabulous & creative activities they provide for you all each week 😀 💖
Just a reminder there will be no Playgroup this week 24th July
Playgroup will return Thursday 31st July at 9.00am
Playgroup is held in the Specialist Building every Thursday morning just after the bell goes at 9:00am until 10:30am. You don't need to have a child at Team Westbreen to attend as our Playgroup is open to all members in our local community. If you have a family member, neighbour, or any friends with a baby, or child under 5, please invite them to come along to our Playgroup, everyone is welcome.
Please contact Georgia Poletti Moulds at georgia.poletti.moulds@gmail.com if you would like more information. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the below flyer and Georgia will get back to you
At Team Westbreen we love having our community involved in helping to enhance the learning experiences of our students. If you are interested in volunteering in any of the many ways available, please contact me for more information. All volunteers need to have a current WWCC and have completed a short Volunteer Induction session with me.
If you have queries regarding any of the above, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I’m happy to help in any way I can.
