Spanish Club News

Mondays 3:45-4:45

¡Azúcar en el Club de Español!

It wasn’t Celia Cruz singing La Vida es un Carnaval last Monday, but Tere ,  who brought plenty of sugar to teach us how to make alfeñiques (colourful sugar skulls) for Día de Muertos.

The afternoon was full of fun, colour, laughter… and a bit of a challenge keeping little hands away from the walls! We also enjoyed hallullas (Chilean bread) and sweet treats from Spain, and welcomed some new faces — always a joy.

The Spanish Club is open to the whole school community, with activities in both Spanish and English that share traditions and games from the Spanish-speaking world while connecting with our Australian community.

Next session: Decorating fans from Spain.

Nos vemos el lunes!!!
