Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

Great reading by our school community this week. 10 more students have already completed the Challenge - but of course they're going to keep reading 'cause that's what good readers do! Keep adding your books if you're not quite there yet.

Well done Audrey S, Steve, Ali, Callix, Sai, Nirav, Lawrence, Aleisha, Gail and Raffaele.

Here are some reflections on a book they've read for the Challenge from some of our wonderful senior students:

Gail

I read a book called The Fairest Of All by Serena Valentino and it’s so good I couldn’t put it down - it pulled me into another universe from the very first page!

Aleisha

I really enjoyed reading The Naturals written by Jennifer Lynn Barnes with all the suspense and mystery the book had me uncovering.

Callix

One of the books I read is After by Morris Gleitzman, it’s an amazing book about World War Two and shows how many lives were lost in that war. I personally really liked it because of how interesting and intriguing it was.

Ali

One of the best books that I could not stop reading was a book called After by Morris Glietzman; full of hope and amazing stories.

Sai

Star Wars the New Hope was definitely a good book to read. I liked the chapters and the characters.

The story had great twists and turns. I also liked the settings.

Fantastic efforts everyone, only 29 days to go!

It has been wonderful to see students bringing and using their library bags when borrowing books. This helps to keep our books safe and in good condition. Library bags are available for purchase at the uniform shop.

Thank you for supporting our love of reading at school.

Happy reading!
