Celebrations of Learning

100 Days of Prep
Last Thursday, we celebrated 100 days of school. We had lots of fun going to the animal farm that was visiting our school. You could pet rabbits, guinea pigs, a dog and a sheep. There was a hungry goat who ate all of our animal food from our cups.
In the morning, we made our crown using paper, glitter, coloured pencils and textas. Then we did writing. In writing, we had to write a sentence that started with, ‘If I had $100, I would…’ It was fun writing about $100, and we came up with lots of different ideas, like a frog, a Tesla, a phone and a bunny.
For Maths, we made a necklace out of 100 Fruit Loops. Then we got to take them home and eat all the fruit loops off the necklace.
Our parents came to have lunch with us, and we got to eat food with them in the hall. We ate some of our favourite foods like sushi, McDonald's, Chinese and Pizza. We also ate yummy cake!
At the end of the day, we watched 101 Dalmatians. This was a good movie; the dogs were cute and spotty.
It was a happy 100 days of school!
