Year -1/2 Unit

It’s hard to believe we are heading into Week 4 of the term. Students are finishing the Writing focus on Personal Narratives where students and teachers have enjoyed writing and reading about memories and experiences that have left a lasting impression! 

The students have been busy learning about Multiplication and made some colourful Array cities to complete the unit. Unfortunately, our Hanging Rock excursion was postponed but hope the weather will cooperate for next time. 

We head into Book Week next week (Week 5) and we’re sure there will be glue guns and costume designs galore over the weekend!!! Wednesday 20th is the official day Woodend PS will celebrate Book Week. Please remember the school parade begins 9.15 sharp on the Netball court and to bring a gold coin donation. Classrooms will then be open until recess at 10.30 for a fun morning of Book Week related activities celebrating our love of reading and books.
