Interim Reports
Much has been done to settle and set strong foundations for our learners in either their first or second year here at the College. As educators, we value knowing our learners and developing rapport with them. This allows students to thrive in a safe and supportive learning environment. By the end of Week 8 this term, families will receive an Interim Report, using the vocabulary scale of:
Rarely (1) | Occasionally (2) | Satisfactorily (3) | Usually (4) | Consistently (5) |
You will find the Student Attributes below. Discussions at home about how students would ‘rate’ themselves would be a good reflective process in addition to classroom discussions.
Application: A student’s degree of readiness to find purpose in his own learning, readiness to work independently, and ability to direct his own academic growth.
Commitment to Study: A student’s diligence in the completion of classwork, assignments, homework, revision, and/or assigned study.
Conduct: The degree to which a student is cooperative and polite towards the teacher and his peers, demonstrating courtesy and respect.
Engagement: The level to which a student actively participates in class activities and asks and responds to questions.
Responsibility: The extent to which a student is punctual, prepared and organised for lessons.
